2019 Feast of Tabernacles
Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin
Despite snow falling on the Sabbath before the Feast started, we enjoyed wonderful fall weather throughout God’s Feast. This weather made it possible to enjoy many of the local outdoor activities as well as the astounding autumn leaves changing colors.
We had the opportunity to hear God’s Word expounded each day at services, but also enjoyed three congregational Bible studies. These presentations included topics such as, “Where Did the 12 Apostles Go?”, “Is Modern Judaism the Religion of the Old Testament?” and “The Breath of God.” The messages were edifying and inspirational. The teens also gathered to have an interactive study titled “Is the Kingdom of God Relevant Today?” As has become tradition at the Dells, we had tremendous special music offered to our Great God. While the number of musicians in attendance was lower than previous years, the quality was not diminished.
With a wide range of age groups represented, there were several activities organized to provide additional chances to fellowship. The fellowship was cited by many as a highlight of their Feast experience. Conversations centered around the magnificent millennial vision that has been revealed to us. It was truly a blessing to observe and keep the Feast of Tabernacles in this idyllic setting where our God placed His name.
