We give all glory and honor to our Almighty God and Father for a joyous and inspiring Feast. We are also most grateful and thankful to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who led the way from planning to completion.

The ambience in the conference hall reflected the festive mood. The lovely decorations of flowers and curtaining varied daily. The brethren were eager to attend daily services and to listen and digest God’s Word. The spiritual messages were compelling, meaningful and enriching. We are thankful to the local men who delivered some wonderful messages. The icing on the spiritual cake came from the pre-recorded messages from President Victor Kubik, and pastors David Schreiber, Dan Dowd, Gary Petty as well as others who spoke at Panama City Beach. The special music provided by the local brethren and the virtual Festival choir were uplifting and beautifully done.

The daily fellowship and unity were outstanding. In the evenings, some brethren would run up to the lake at the rear of the hotel to watch the sun go down beyond the hills. The sun emitting shades of yellow turning to orange and then to red was a beautiful sight before dark skies set in. The typical forest trees gave all the shade one would want. The occasional wind coming across the lake kept the environment cooler. Brethren enjoyed the tree houses, hammocks, monkeys and rock squirrels, and watching a small herd of elephants roaming down the other end of the lake at sundown. Observing and listening to the birds chirp returning home to their nests in the trees was amazing. All glory and honor belongs to our Creator God whose creation we can only marvel at with awe.

The brethren served one another with gladness. Teamwork and unity were very evident throughout the Feast. The brethren’s participation in events such as cricket, family day, the variety show, sightseeing (walking and cycling) and rock climbing was delightful. The evidence that God and our Savior was with us throughout the eight days was more than visible and felt due to a second wave of COVID-19 that occurred in our country. Despite some concerns, our loving God ensured this outbreak did not deter the completion of a wonderful Feast. This Feast was one that will be remembered by the brethren for a long time, possibly as the best Feast ever. One member counted 345 days to the next Feast!

A big thank you to pastor David Schreiber and his wife for their love and direction as always. We also thank the home office team for an outstanding job of services rendered to our brethren in Sri Lanka and the rest of the world. We thank and owe God everything because “unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain” (Psalm 127:1, English Standard Version).
