1st Corinthians 6 talks of the concept of our being joined to the Lord in one spirit. Similar to how a husband and wife are joined as one flesh, we have an incredible opportunity to be joined to God as one spirit. The Spirit of God grafts to us, and regenerates, transforms, and renews us. What is the importance of this receipt of God's Spirit? Why is baptism essential? Is God's Spirit working with us enough? Or is it important that His Spirit be grafted to us, becoming one spirit with our Father?
