BACKGROUND:

Located a short walk from Lake Annecy and on 12 beautiful acres, Le Pré du Lac Hotel offers a comfortable and enjoyable location for families and friends to come together to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. The recently-constructed main conference center is an ideal place to enjoy fellowship together and includes a spacious bar and lounge, a terrace that wraps around the building with beautiful views of the mountains, and a state-of-the-art indoor swimming pool and spa. Amid the peaceful, park-like setting, the individual multi-room-buildings and large lodge where Feast-goers will stay afford visitors quiet and calm. Please note that that the rooms are smaller and more basic than typical North American hotel rooms. Unlike those visiting larger cities, people come to Lake Annecy to enjoy the outdoors and spend time in the main building with family and friends. ROOM DESCRIPTION:

There are two types of housing available during the Feast. One type of housing is in single-story buildings which contain several individual hotel-room-style units. Each of these units is entered directly from the outside and has a small patio table and chairs on the grassy area in front of the entry door. Inside the unit, there is a single room with a separate bathroom. The units are approximately 173 square feet in size. The rooms have two single beds, but these beds can be placed together to form a queen-size bed for couples. Each room has a television, but no phone. Rooms also have individual heating units, but given the climate no air conditioning is required. The bathrooms have a shower only. Hair dryers are not provided in the rooms, so please plan to bring one from home (see the section entitled "ELECTRICITY" in our "Important Information" post).

The second type of housing is in a large, two-story, “lodge-type” building. Rooms are accessed from an interior hallway. Upon entering each unit, there is a common entry area and bathroom and then two separate bedrooms. These units are ideal for families with children, allowing the children to have a separate room from their parents. These rooms do not have direct access to an outside sitting area.

There is no kitchenette, nor mini-fridge, in either type of room. Also, there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms, but Wi-Fi is available in the main conference center—a short walk from the apartments. Sheets and towels will not automatically be changed during your stay. For 15€ per person, you can purchase a change of sheets and towels.
 

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS:

Rooms will be assigned based on family size and a survey will be sent out in June to help us better understand your individual needs. Handicapped housing is also available.
 

HOUSING COST:

The Feast in France is all-inclusive, and the cost includes nine nights lodging from check-in on Monday, September 20 to check-out on Wednesday, September 29 and includes dinner on Monday evening, September 20, breakfast, lunch and dinner from September 21 to September 28, and breakfast on September 29. Due to our contract terms, we cannot offer pricing for fewer days.

The per-person cost for this all-inclusive package is as follows:

• Adults 14 years and older - Two adults lodging together: €725 per person
• Adults 14 years and older - One person lodging alone: €850 per person
• Teens 12 to 13 years old: €580 per person
• Children 6 to 11 years old: €400 per person
• Children 3 to 5 years old:  €190 per person
• Children under 2 years old and under: Free
   

PRE-FEAST HOUSING:

• There is no pre-Feast housing being offered
