2020 Feast of Tabernacles
Berlin, Ohio (Satellite)
Services were held at the Berlin Grande Hotel and a big tent in the parking lot for adequate space to socially distance.
The uplifting, God-focused special music was very much appreciated. Messages followed the theme of God’s awesome promises as the meaning of the Holy Days was highlighted. Daily evening Bible studies and fellowship hours made this Feast very personable and friendly. The local radio station, WKLM, broadcast the Berlin Feast of Tabernacles as well, and approximately 40 unique visitors from the community came throughout the week to learn more about the Feast days. Some of them joined us for BBQ dinners on the “Pavilion of Promise” followed by Bible studies on the Sabbath and on Sunday afternoon.
Attendees had opportunities to visit the Amish Country Theater for a comedy show, learn about the history of the Amish and Mennonites at the Behalt Museum, feed the safari animals at The Farm in Walnut Creek, and browse at the famous Lehman’s Hardware store where items like those their grandparents used can still be purchased. The many local shops provided plenty of opportunities to enjoy Swiss cheese, homemade chocolates, crafts, baked goods and more.
Though this Feast site came late in the planning phase, it was quite clear that God placed His name at the Berlin Grande for His Feast of Tabernacles this year. The staff at the hotel complemented us as the “nicest big group” they have hosted.
The farewell fellowship on the Eighth Day gave additional time to chat and appreciate each other. May we continue to glorify our great God and may He bless and keep us all until next year.
