Hello, friends!

I hope you're all having a wonderful summer and are looking forward to the annual Fall Holy Day season with great anticipation, as I am!

As we draw near to the opening night service of the 2021 Feast of Tabernacles (just 33 days away!), many men and women have been diligently working to organize various activities and service needs so that we can properly honor and worship God, as well as be able to serve each other and enjoy all the blessings that come with the observance of this Festival.

It has come to my attention that we could use a few more volunteers to help out with ushering. Some of the duties of an usher are:

• Assist with the daily attendance count.
• Help people find an open seat.
• Help mothers with small children if the need should arise.
• Help collect the Holy Day offerings.
• Assist with various stage needs at times.
• Be available to point people in the right direction.

If you have already signed up for ushering, you should have received an email from Assistant Festival Coordinator, Lewis VanAusdle, who is organizing the ushers. If you signed up to help but for some reason haven't received an email, or if you haven't yet signed up to help and you would be willing to serve your brethren in any of the above ways, please contact Mr. VanAusdle at lewis_vanausdle@ucg.org and let him know you are willing to help out as an usher.

At this time, we are hoping to have 6-8 more people volunteer to help serve as ushers.
