Dear Readers,

As the new associate editor of United News, it’s a blessing to serve God’s people by sharing Church updates from members around the world. I’ve always enjoyed reading the announcements and articles from brethren and I look forward to continuing the work of keeping God’s people connected.

I grew up attending the Charlotte, North Carolina, congregation with my family and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio in 2016 for Ambassador Bible College. Since graduating in 2017, I have remained in the area. The year spent at ABC was one of the highlights of my life. During that time, I wrote for ABC Times and participated in many other travel and volunteer opportunities.

Writing, editing and publication have been a common thread throughout my education, career and even hobbies. In 2019, I received my bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, in which my main focuses were English and Communication. I have since been blessed to work in a variety of industries that have prepared me to work in this role: printing, publication and editing in particular. In my free time, I have written for Compass Check, authored and self-published children’s books, maintained a blog and edited papers for college students, among other projects.

As associate editor, my role includes collecting and editing content for the United News, creating print layouts and posting articles and updates online. I also assist with editing the camp magazine and festival brochure. Additionally, I provide support for printed materials for ABC. During Beyond Today recordings, I run the teleprompter.

I’m excited to serve in this new role and am thankful for the warm welcome and great mentoring I’ve been blessed with. Please feel free to email me at UN@ucg.org. I’m looking forward to meeting you!
