Speaker: Tom Meece Date: 9/26/22 In Lev. 23:23-25 God directed the Feast of Trumpets to be kept but not much detail is related to the day in the Bible. What is the significance of Trumpets? Through an understanding of the meaning of the Hebrew word in Leviticus 23:24 for “trumpets” the significance of trumpets is 1) to announce a celebration of Christ’s return and Christian life and hope now, and 2) to announce war that will occur when Christ takes over rulership of earth and our personal war on whatever does not please God in our personal Christian lives. This message clarifies why Trumpets are appropriate as the mark of what this day represents, both for the future and in our personal lives now.
