Thanksgiving was intended to be more than an act, done once a year, but rather a way of thinking and living where God is recognized for what He has done for us in so many ways both seen and unseen. Today I would like to cover three aspects of thankfulness that if you can begin to master will have profound impacts on your life and your relationships with everyone. Gratitude or the state of being grateful or thankful is so important for the right relationship with God and with our neighbor. Without it, we get self-centeredness which leads to strife. Humility is so important to healthy Christian relationships and gratitude plays a huge part in helping us to remain humble because we are naturally focused on others and not ourselves.
