In Paul's second epistle to Timothy, Paul mentions that his fellow worker Demas "has forsaken me, having loved this present world." The apostle John talked about "Do not love the world or the things in the world." In this message, we explore the warning of not loving this present world. In the process, we also look at how the Greek words aion and kosmos are used in various passages to get a clearer understanding of what "world" constitutes. At the end, we discuss the Biblical analogy of being a sojourner or pilgrim while we remain in the world but not are not of the world.
