Southwest Camp 2024
July 07, 2024 - 12:00am MST to July 14, 2024 - 11:55pm MST
Southwest Camp
Southwest Camp is set on 80 beautiful acres nestled amid the pine trees in the Prescott National Forest, Arizona. We look forward to building on last year’s wonderful experience in this picturesque location. You can expect temperatures in the mid 80s during the day and around 60 at night as we are nearly 6,500 feet in elevation.
We have many on-site activities, such as horseback riding, archery, volleyball, mountain biking, arts and crafts, field sports, Bible class, dance and more. Although most activities are at the main camp location, we travel off-site to a local lake where we offer kayaking and paddle boarding.
Our primary goal is to point our youth to their Creator. Each day begins with Christian living, which sets the tone for the day. As we carry out the day’s activities, we put these principles into practice in ways that are designed to help us live God’s way in everything we do. We end the day as a camp family, together at the campfire, where we continue to build relationships, learn biblical principles and have lots of laughs.
The foundation of camp is building relationships, both with God and one another. Everything we do strives to point back to the importance of those relationships in our life. To bring camp to a close, we conclude with a formal banquet and dance, which brings campers and staff together for a final evening of conversation, laughter and wonderful memories.
Southwest Camp is located about 10 minutes outside of Prescott, Arizona, on Senator Highway (approximately two hours from Phoenix). For those flying into PHX, we will arrange free transportation to/from camp. We hope you join us this year!
