The holy days that we observe each year are a part of a package called in Leviticus chapter 23, "the feasts of the Lord." God claims ownership of the seventh day sabbath, the annual Passover, and seven annual holy days and commands that his people observe these feasts at the time appointed by Him. Mainstream Christianity claims that these feasts were nailed to the cross with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and therefore we no longer have to observe them. But if that's true, why do we see clear evidence that the New Testament church kept them? Because, if the New Testament church observed these feasts, so should we.
