Letter From Daniel Deininger
March 8, 2024
Greetings from Kalispell,
Have you ever thought about how old God is? Does He have memory loss? Does He ever get us confused or mixed up with someone else? Or forget who we are? Do we worry about if He is going to make the right decision? Or forget to send His son, Jesus the Christ back to save mankind and setup the Kingdom of God?
If you follow some news sources you will have seen accounts of our United States President confusing or mixing up world leaders such as the Presidents of Mexico and Egypt, or countries such as Ukraine and Gaza. As an American, I find this disconcerting, although as I age, I certainly understand that my memory is not a quick and good as it once was, either.
However, what a blessing it is to have a loving heavenly Father who is NOT getting old, but is actually ageless. He has eternal life inherit within himself.
Isaiah 57:15 NKJV - For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name [is] Holy: "I dwell in the high and holy [place], With him [who] has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
His memory is fine.. He knows the name of all the stars, so He certainly knows who we are!
Psalm 147:1 NLT - Praise the LORD! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!
Psalm 147:3 NLT - He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.
Psalm 147:4 NLT - He counts the stars and calls them all by name.
Psalm 147:5 NLT - How great is our Lord! His power is absolute! His understanding is beyond comprehension!
Psalm 147:6 NLT - The LORD supports the humble, but he brings the wicked down into the dust.
We as His children are precious to Him!
Luke 12:6 CSB - "Aren't five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight.
Luke 12:7 CSB - "Indeed, the hairs of your head are all counted. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
He knows us so well, He even knows how many hairs are on our heads! And He has positive plans for us!
Jeremiah 29:11 NLT - For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Psalm 40:5 NLT - O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.
I encourage you this Sabbath to express your thanks to God for being a loving God, and One who is so powerful and ageless that He knows who we are, and hears our prayers, and answers them, because He knows us and loves us and has a plan for us.
John 3:16 NLT - "For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:17 NLT - God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him.
How awesome is His plan, that in addition to being involved in our lives now, His ultimate plan is to give us Eternal Life! And when we receive those glorified bodies, then we, too, will have perfect recall and memory, and will no longer need to worry about getting old.
1 John 3:1 NLT - See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don't recognize that we are God's children because they don't know him.
1 John 3:2 NLT - Dear friends, we are already God's children, but he has not yet shown us what we will be like when Christ appears. But we do know that we will be like him, for we will see him as he really is.
Warm Regards,
Dan
