Scams done over email or via phone are generally called a phishing attack - but Satan’s spiritual version of phishing doesn’t steal passwords or money, it steals our peace. Saul’s example shows what it’s like to get ‘caught’ by this not-so-good spirit, but also encourages us to ‘hold our peace’ so we don’t get scammed in the first place.
