It was necessary for even Jesus to “bear the image of the earthy”. / HEB 2:14-15. This sermon speaks to our entire audience but focuses on our older members who are enduring unto the end as they often suffer the challenges of age. Aging in the World to Come may be quite different. Learning lessons from growing older in the faith is essential to our spiritual development and preparation to serve God and others throughout the Millennium. ECC 12:1-7 gives insight into what to expect as God allows us to endure this physical training ground. We do not want to compromise but learn to compensate for a faithful, purposeful existence throughout our lifetime.
