Here we are on day 42 on our count to Pentecost. We will be celebrating together a week from tomorrow as these days that we count are growing fewer and fewer. For the followers of Christ, these days marked the timing of a monumental change in their Christian lives. When that Pentecost fully arrived their lives would never be the same.
Today I would like to talk about those last days before that day of Pentecost and look at how Jesus used them to transform the disciples into leaders of the Church. All of us should be disciples of Jesus Christ, but we were called to be even more than that.
