Speaker: Lud Kiramidjian Date: 2/5/22 Location: Orinda The Bible reveals much about God’s throne in what Paul described as “the Third Heaven”. Besides many descriptions of God’s throne in the Book of Psalms, the Bible documents seven servants of God who were granted miraculous and spectacular “visions” of God’s majestic throne in heaven. In the OT records, four men were granted such visions: Micaiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. In the NT records, three other men were granted such visions: Stephan, Paul, and the apostle John. In all seven of these cases, the visions they experienced fortified and strengthened their faith, and gave them extra courage to overcome various trials as they did the work that God gave them to do. This message presents: (1) A few Psalms that describe God’s throne; (2) Excerpts from the accounts of God’s glorious throne in heaven that strengthened those men; and (3) An exhortation to study the biblical scriptures that describe God’s throne, so as to also fortify and strengthen our faith.
