We are easily motivated to work on things that interest us. If God is really involved in my life, then why is my life so mundane and normal? We must recognize that we experience cycles of closeness and distance from God in our relationship with Him. Many of God’s people were not always as close to God as they should be but God remained involved in their lives. Although parents, family members, children and all Christians may not always live according to God’s will, God remains constant in fulfilling his purpose. We have a responsibility regarding God’s involvement in our lives.
