Pastor Bart Bornhorst gives a message on creation after we watched a video titled "Earth as a Witness" (https://vimeo.com/78072521). He begins by explaining how Creation shows God's power and awesomeness. He then moves on with three attributes that show He is working in our lives personally; God is omnipotent, God is omniscient, and God is omnipresent.

The creation of God is a witness to how powerful and awesome He is.

Psalms 19:1 → Heavens proclaim the glory of God.

We need to appreciate God’s creation.  Creation gives us all of the attributes of God.  Creation 

 God is omnipotent.

He is all powerful.

God power is evident.  Everything is a 

Rom. 

God plan is to bring HIs creation back to us.  God shares a part of Himself with us.  

Matt. 19:23 → Christ is speaking about a rich man entering the heaven.

With God, all things are possible.  We need to be careful to not doubt God’s power.

God is omniscient.

God is all-knowing.  We focus so much on man’s knowledge that we forget God’s power.  God’s knowledge should fill us with awe.

Psalms 147:5

God has the power to understand every thought that you are having.

Rom. 11:33

Comfort comes to us in different ways.  God will guide to us to where we’ll receive the most comfort.

Psalms 139:1 → God is acquainted with all of our ways.

There is a comfort of how God knows

God is omnipresent.

God is everywhere at all time.  His presence fills the entire earth.

Psalms 139:7 → Where can I go from your spirit.

Satan would like us to believe that God isn’t around us.  When we think that way, it creates doubt in us.  God is at our side at all times.

Jer. 23:23

God is with us everywhere.

2 Chron 2:6

Isa. 66:1-2

God desires to be in our heart and our mind.

Eph. 3:14

Ask God to give us strength to the depth of who we really are
