It is all a question of spiritual survival.  How can we cope in a world which lives the exact opposite of how God instructs us to live? The laws of God are not on the minds of most people.  We will peer into the life of Daniel the prophet and discover how we should live in today’s world.

What translation of the Bible do you suggest we study from, Mr. Tuck?

Hi Jenna, I would recommend the New King James Version (NKJV) of the Bible. The reason I suggest this it is fairly easy to read without all the "thees" and "thous" of the King James (KJV), and it stays pretty close to the original text from which the King James was translated. Often the newer translation interpret their own ideas into the scriptures, and by doing so they add things which are not there and were never intended. The Living Translation is especially apt to do this in the effort of its authors who to paraphrase an idea. False ideas were written into the modern paraphrase of a scripture, and consequently the verse is dangerously written such that it can mislead. There is much more to choosing a good translation, but that is a shorter answer.
