Matthew 13:25-30 Arvid Simmons expounds the meaning of the parable of the tares. In it is a dire warning to us as Christians that we not become complacent and neglect so great a salvation. (Hebrews 2:3) We don't have to be doing things drastic enough to be put out of the Church. We can just drift, take things lightly and fall short as did the victims in another parable—the foolish virgins.
