Deacon David Cobb explains that whatever we believe our spiritual condition to be, we must continue to strive and move on to perfection, as if we have not yet achieved that perfection. He quotes Paul’s admonition to put away arrogance and cloth ourselves with humility, “let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall,” and covers three actions, which can move us on to perfection: fear the Lord, serve the Lord in sincerity and truth, and put away false gods.
