Servant leadership stands in sharp contrast to the authoritarian leadership practiced by many. Christ was and is a servant leader. As disciples of His, we should be developing the characteristics of servant leaders as well. Servant leaders look out for the well-being of others, encourage, inspire, set an example, strive for excellence and wise stewardship of all in their care.
