David was inspired to write about the Messiah many times. Peter, in his sermon on Pentecost in Acts 2, quoted from two of David's psalms, making it clear that God raised Jesus from the dead, and exalted Him to the right hand of God in heaven. These are truths that help us to understand some of the most important spiritual meaning of Pentecost.
