Just as a man took a unimpressive piece of property in Branson, MO and turned it into a multimillion dollar entertainment center, so too Christians are to seek the “treasure hid in a field” and the “pearl of great price” (Matthew 13) and seek the Kingdom of God.  We must not look back but go forward in obedience and faith.

Don Pirwitz

(1941-2022)

Don Paul Pirwitz was a familiar voice on radio in the Ozarks since 1972. He was ordained in 1998 and served as pastor of the United Church of God in Springfield from 2011-2021. Don and his wife, Sharon, were married for over 50 years. They had three children and six grandchildren.
