Repentance is a gift from God and is a process that involves:  - Recognition that God exists and is available to us  - Reckoning with God regarding our flawed state  - Repenting and turning away from sin  - Remission of the penalty of death which sin incurs  - Receipt of God's Holy Spirit It is a journey on which we walk our whole life long.
