Like Adam and Eve, humanity chooses to disobey and reject the authority of God. We must choose to submit and to be ever reverent toward God and all of His word. Jesus Christ used scripture as his authority and declared that all things he taught were by the authority of God. The apostles followed Christ’s approach. We must also have the right attitude and approach—studying and praying for understanding, sincerely wanting to learn from God in order to become more like Jesus Christ and live by every word of God.
