So did Christ deny Himself because He wore tassels? That's ridiculous! You do realize by stating those that wear tassels are denying Christ is also being divisive, yes? By also saying that those who do wear them are causing division is hypocritical. Why can't they just be symbolic of the spiritual? We partake in physical unleavened bread and wine to symbolize the spiritual at Passover under the renewed covenant today. Why doesn't that deny the Spirit? Does a second reminder undermine and nullify the first, more powerful reminder? What's wrong with having two reminders? If the physical points to the spiritual, how can it also deny it? Are tassels required for salvation, will eternal life be denied to us if we are not wearing them? No. But you're saying it will be denied if we do wear them. This is wrong. Jewish phylacteries, by the way, are man-made requirements that are extra-Biblical, loosely pulled from allegorical statements in scripture. Tassels (or tzitzityot) were specifically spelled out by God Himself unambiguously, and to all of Israel!

The Messiah was perfect, The Messiah wore tassels, The Messiah was physically circumcised, The Messiah nor Paul have authority to change the law. Deu 4:2 You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. In the Millennium, circumcision of flesh and of heart are both required, is God inconsistent? Eze 44:9 Thus says the Lord GOD: No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart or uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter My sanctuary, including any foreigner who is among the children of Israel. IF the Law is written in our hearts, the law says to wear tassels, the law requires circumcision. The Messiah did them, so should we. 1Co 4:16 Therefore I urge you, imitate me. 1Co 11:1 Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ. 1Jo 2:6-7 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. 7 Brethren, I write no new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which you heard from the beginning. ((((Follow the PERFECT example of Messiah, it [his life, example] was suitable for your salvation!))))
