This message is the third part of the first Fundamental Belief of the United Church of God, an International Association. This first Fundamental Belief is titled "God the Father, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit." Due to the expansive information about this fundamental belief, the decision was made to have the three to be presented in separate messages. We believe in the Holy Spirit as the Spirit of God and of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is the power of God and the Spirit of life eternal. The canonized Holy Scriptures reveal that the Holy Spirit is not a person but is actually the holy power of God given to those whom God the Father calls to receive this most precious gift once they prove to submit and surrender in obedience to Him. This holy power is what enables us to do those things that are pleasing to both God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
