Jesus Christ Himself instituted the wine as part of the New Testament Passover service, saying "Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins." Before we partake of this symbol during the Passover, we need to properly understand and appreciate what this means.
