We'll look at  I John 3:1-3 in its two aspects: 1. What is in fact the awesome calling and destiny bestowed on us by the Great God. 2. What is our responsibility in purifying ourselves, overcoming, growing and changing in cooperation with, and through the power of, God's Holy Spirit. In exploring aspect one, plan is to review a select number of scriptures in God's word speaking of that destiny. In explaining aspect two, plan is to review God's expectations revealed in scripture exhorting us to overcome and grow, and how to do so using a focused approach with the power of God's Holy Spirit.
