Speaker: Lud Kiramidjian Date: 6/15/24 The first New Testament Feast of Pentecost was observed nearly 2,000 years ago. That day was one of the most momentous days in human history --- and was a giant step forward in God’s plan of salvation. That day was documented by Luke in Acts 2:1-41 --- when the first disciples were “all with one accord in one place”. Something momentous and spectacular happened to those disciples that is far above the heads of what is commonly portrayed by traditional Christendom. The spectacular miracles and giving of the Holy Spirit to the 120 disciples in Acts 2:1-4 took place at the Jerusalem temple area for all the Pentecost-keeping Jewish multitude to see and hear --- not at the traditional Cenacle “Upper Room”. It is profound that on that day God changed His earthly address from Herod’s Temple in Jerusalem to each of the members of His church (1 Corinthians 3:16 and Ephesians 2:21-22).
