Notes:

Trinity is a term not found in the Bible.  Some books mention that the mind of men cannot fully understand the trinity.  Who in the Old Testament had contact with God the Father?  What was the purpose of Christ’s first coming?

Holy Spirit

I Thes 4: → The Spirit of God can be quenched.

Titus 3:6

Acts 2:38 → Repent and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Acts 2:17 → In the last days I will pour out my spirit.

Acts. 10:45

Isa. 11:2 → Spirit of wisdom and understanding.  

Rom. 5:5

Holy Spirit is not part of the Godhead.
How many are there in the Godhead?  

Gen. 1:1 → Elohim - singular noun, plural meaning.  There is more than one person making up the Godhead.

Gen. 1:26 → Let us make man in our image (plural).  More than one entity in Godhead.

Gen. 1:24 → Every animal made in their image.

Does the New Testament how many are in God family.

John 1:1 → Two entities, one was the word and one was God - but the word was God.

v. 3 → Everything was made by him.

There is two in the Godhead.

Heb. 2:10  God is going to bringing many sons to glory.

v. 18 → is it true that no man has seen God.

Matt. 11:27 → All things are delivered to me and the father.  No man knows the Father and has seen Him.

The only one who met God the father was Jesus Christ.

Luke 10:22

No man knows the son.

John 6:44 → No many can come to me unless the Father draws him.

John 15:16 → You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you.

Luke 10:23

The prophets know there was a duality.

To whom is Jesus the Word going to reveal the father to.

John 17:1 → You have to believe in God the Father and God the Son who are the same. 

v. 16 → Jesus is going to reveal the Father, and the knowledge he gives us, we will give to the world.

The Godhead will bring many to His family, the trinity does not allow for this.

v. 5  - Returning of the glory.

Jesus wants to give us the glory that was given to him.  The OT God has a family, it is one family - but a plural noun.

Heb. 10:19 → Everytime we pray, we are in contact with the Father.

One of the Godhead became a man to bring many sons to glory.

Phil. 3:20 

I John 3:1 → God is reproducing Himself and wants more in His family.
