One of the most well used tropes in Western literature and film is the concept of, "There's a New Sheriff In Town". It builds on the idea that the town had been corrupt for some time. There was no little to no rule of law and the criminals and scoundrels were running the show. What can be done? Who will deliver the town from this lawlessness? Enter the 'New Sheriff'. He draws a line in the sand and tells the people that things are not going to operate like they used to. From that moment forward, there's a New Sheriff in Town... When it comes to the symbolism of the Feast of Trumpets, most notably the return of Jesus Christ, everything is going to change from that moment forward. How will it change? What will these times of restoration look like? How badly does mankind need the return of Christ?
