Many in the world have struggled with who Jesus Christ was while in the flesh on the earth. Was He fully a man? Did He retain every aspect of being a God? Was He some kind of demigod? Those that hold to the Trinity doctrine that Jesus Christ is one of the three persons coexisting in one Being struggle with how Jesus could be fully man without still being God in full power and full knowledge of all things. Who does the Bible show Jesus Christ was? In this sermon, we will see from the Bible that Jesus Christ was fully a man, in every sense, but that while Jesus Christ was always God in identity, (Who He was never changed), He did not retain the power and knowledge of God. While in the flesh, Jesus Christ wasn’t fully God in both power and knowledge of Himself. This understanding is critical to understanding another reason why the Trinity doctrine is false. If Jesus Christ is an inseparable part of the three in one Trinity, He had to retain His Godly power and knowledge. He didn’t. He willingly gave those things up during the time He was fully human, retaining only His identity of being God. That He never gave up.
