There are many things going on in our human minds (which involves or physical brains and the spirit in man). What goes on there is critically important to God, because we are what we think (Proverbs 23:6-7). Our thoughts bear fruit in our lives (whether good or evil) and define us. We cannot be one way inside and another way outside. For example, the tenth commandment (to not desire things we shouldn't have) deals with things going on inside the mind. This sermon explores the importance of having a godly mind.

Mark Rorem

(1948-2017)

Mark Rorem (1948-2017) was an elder in the United Church of God, serving primarily in the Oakland congregation. He was a graduate of Ambassador College.  He and his wife, Linda, had three children.  He grew up in Mexico City, and assisted in various aspects of the Spanish language efforts of the Church. He was a practicing attorney since 1979.  He was ordained an elder in 2000.
