Paul, in 1 Corinthians 9, uses the analogy of running in a race so as to win an imperishable crown. Sometimes runners stumble and fall, as we all do in our own Christian race. Applying this lesson to our preparation for Passover, this sermon addresses three main points: 1) Things that cause us to stumble, and what that means; 2) How are we lifted up after having stumbled?; and, 3) What we can and should do to finish our race well. A video of an actual race was included, showing an amazing and inspiring physical example that can help us to learn spiritual lessons, as in the word pictures of racing in the Scriptures.
