This past year has been rough, full of destruction and chaos. It seems that people have always desired peace but have never been able to obtain it. Around this time of year, we hear a lot about the concept of "peace on Earth" in reference to Jesus Christ. But even Jesus Himself told His disciples that He didn't come to bring peace on Earth. Yet we are still called to experience peace in our lives regardless of the circumstances of the world around us. So, let's learn how we can obtain personal peace despite the turmoil in the world.

Len Martin is the pastor of the United Church of God congregations in Cambridge, Columbus, and Mansfield, Ohio. Ordained in 1999, Len has previously served congregations in Worcester, Massachusetts, Seabrook, New Hampshire, Ann Arbor & Lansing, Michigan and Dayton, Ohio. Len also serves as Camp Director for Pre-teen Camp Buckeye.
