The Scriptures are quite clear that GOD calls people to His way of life. He calls them from every walk of life and virtually every culture, language and country. Why does GOD call people?

Sermon Notes

A partial list of notes and Scriptures:

(1Co 1:26)  For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called.
(1Co 1:27)  But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty;
(1Co 1:28)  and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,

(Deu 7:7)  The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;
(Mat 6:25)  "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing?
(Mat 6:26)  Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
(Mat 6:27)  Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
(Mat 6:28)  "So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin;
(Mat 6:29)  and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
(Mat 6:30)  Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
(Mat 6:31)  "Therefore do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'
(Mat 6:32)  For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
(Mat 6:33)  But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
(Mat 6:34)  Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

It is important to have GOD involved in ALL the mundane things of our daily lives so we get in the habit of seeing HIS HAND working in all those little things and gain the confidence needed to confront those challenging times ahead.

(Joh 17:20)  "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
(Joh 17:21)  that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
(Joh 17:22)  And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
(Joh 17:23)  I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
(Heb 8:6)  But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.
(Heb 8:7)  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second.
(Heb 8:8)  Because finding fault with them, He says: "BEHOLD, THE DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD, WHEN I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH—
(Heb 8:9)  NOT ACCORDING TO THE COVENANT THAT I MADE WITH THEIR FATHERS IN THE DAY WHEN I TOOK THEM BY THE HAND TO LEAD THEM OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT; BECAUSE THEY DID NOT CONTINUE IN MY COVENANT, AND I DISREGARDED THEM, SAYS THE LORD.
(Heb 8:10)  FOR THIS IS THE COVENANT THAT I WILL MAKE WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AFTER THOSE DAYS, SAYS THE LORD: I WILL PUT MY LAWS IN THEIR MIND AND WRITE THEM ON THEIR HEARTS; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.
HUMAN Nature wants GOD to save us IN OUR Sins... not from our sins..

(Heb 8:11)  NONE OF THEM SHALL TEACH HIS NEIGHBOR, AND NONE HIS BROTHER, SAYING, 'KNOW THE LORD,' FOR ALL SHALL KNOW ME, FROM THE LEAST OF THEM TO THE GREATEST OF THEM.
(Heb 8:12)  FOR I WILL BE MERCIFUL TO THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS, AND THEIR SINS AND THEIR LAWLESS DEEDS I WILL REMEMBER NO MORE."

(Heb 8:13)  In that He says, "A NEW COVENANT," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.
(Gal 5:22)  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
(Gal 5:23)  gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
(1Co 13:12)  For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
What I look the most forward to at the return of Christ is GETTING RID OF MY LIMITATIONS.

The only path to Eternity is by the Narrow Gate and Narrow Way that Christ showed us.
Our jouney does not end until we die or Christ returns.
