God has allowed humankind to set up governmental systems throughout the ages under the sway of Satan. But from the Garden of Eden to the present day God has desired to have a governmental system based on truth, love and respect for all peoples. Leaders with various ideologies have exploited and deceived the peoples of the world in the names of freedom and liberty. But the way of peace they know not. God has ordained the way to righteousness, peace and justice. The Father and the Son are going to intervene as in did in the days of Noah and bring all nations, kindreds and tongues under His authority. His government will be based on the immutable spiritual law as summarized by the two great commandments: You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind and soul and the second is: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.

Before his retirement in 2021, Dr. Donald Ward pastored churches in Texas and Louisiana, and taught at Ambassador Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has also served as chairman of the Council of Elders of the United Church of God. He holds a BS degree; a BA in theology; a MS degree; a doctor’s degree in education from East Texas State University; and has completed 18 hours of graduate theology from SMU.
