But this message is about another inter-related story which is no less amazing --- that of how John the Baptist’s parents (Zechariah the priest and Elizabeth his wife) became his parents. As we go through their story, we can glean three profound lessons that also apply to each of our lives: (1) Like Zechariah and Elizabeth, we are always “Remembered by God”; (2) Like Zechariah and Elizabeth, never give up praying to and walking with God; and (3) Like Zechariah and Elizabeth, with God nothing will be impossible!
