In a world of so many divergent religions and philosophies …do you find yourself asking (as I did when I was a young boy) …“is there a true God?”

For years that question plagued me. In fact it was a question that I used, to plague some of my school teachers and religious instruction teachers.

They frustrated me with answers …such as “Oh well, the answer to that question is just a matter of faith.”

How has this question rested with you? Have you found a satisfactory answer to it, yet?

I was 15 when I began to find out about the “true God”.

In fact I began to find God described in the only literature in the world that dares to describe the “true God” …the Bible.

It was quite an illumination to read about the “true God” mentioned in quite a number of scriptures such as: 2 Chronicles 15:1-4; Jeremiah 10:10; Matthew 22:16; John 17:3; 1 Thessalonians 1:9; 1 John 5:20; Revelation 15:3; and Revelation 16:7.

Yes the Bible opened up to me the understanding of where to look, observe, and find the “true God”.

I found out that “true God” is God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

1 John 5:20: And we know that the Son of God is come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

You too, can find and have a close relationship with that true God.
