"There is no pit so deep that God's love is not deeper still," said Corrie ten Boom.

"God will give us the love to be able to forgive our enemies." God requires us to forgive in order to forgiven. "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15).

God knew that this powerful tool of forgiving others not only shows our appreciation for His forgiveness of our sins, but it also helps produce emotional healing. Forgiveness is a big subject, but essentially we are to follow the perfect, loving example of Jesus who wants all to be saved (1 Timothy 2:4).
