Near the end of her life, actress Audrey Hepburn quoted "Time Tested Beauty Tips," a Sam Levenson poem that has been associated with her ever since. One of the lines says: "As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands. One is for helping yourself, and the other is for helping others."

Hands are among the marvels of the human body. They function as directed by the mind. God says to love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Matthew 19:19). The idea of being aware of our personal and family responsibilities and also keeping an eye and hand out to help others is a godly principle. It brings health and joy and develops the character of caring in us.
