Life is precious and not to be wasted. Our Creator wants us to face life and live it with gusto and joy. He encourages that in the Scriptures (Ecclesiastes 9:9-10; Deuteronomy 30:15-16). We must never turn our backs on life, but face the challenges with courage and by using our minds. When life is seen as a challenge that is good for us because we develop strength of character, the negatives do not grow so large that we become fearful.

Just as some slip further and further into debt because they have not strongly addressed the financial circumstance of their lives, so, too, we can slip further into complacency by not tackling our problems. It helps to roll up your sleeves and just do it.
