We rush around so much that we don’t let ourselves relax enough to enjoy each day. We jam homework, tests, part-time jobs, dating and friends into those 24 hours and then realize that sometimes it just can’t be done. We become frustrated and worn out.

“One day at a time” is a simple slogan for busy people like us! We can learn to slow down, set priorities and enjoy each day as it comes. Put God first at the beginning of each day, asking Him to guide you throughout that day. Go through your day expecting great things from Him while attempting to do great things for Him. After all, “If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31). Just remember to take one day at a time—and to take it with God.
