What is more valuable than rubies, gold and silver? Proverbs 3:13-15 tells us that the answer is "wisdom." Wisdom is something that nobody can steal. Wisdom is something that continues to grow and develop in the mind of the seeker. One gathers wisdom from others and from the experiences of life. Wisdom changes us and makes our lives far richer and more fulfilling than the most priceless bauble.

The opportunities to gain wisdom never end. The beauty of being human is that, although our bodies grow old and with time more feeble, our minds continue to gather and store wisdom well into old age. The aged who have treasured this invaluable asset are worth their weight in gold!
