Few things are as wonderful as the innocence of a child. Their hearts are pure and you don’t have to guess what they have to say or what is on their minds. Children, sadly, do not stay that way forever. They grow up to be adults in a world that is filled with deceit and dishonesty and inevitably face some loss of innocence.

In Matthew 18:3, we learn that God expects us to become pure—undefiled, morally untarnished—like a little child. He did not mean we should revert back to the simple life of a child, but that our minds must become pure and clean—a cleansing granted by God when we come before Him and repent.
