We all may have experienced moments when the “woe is me” syndrome passes through our thoughts. Missed opportunities, failed undertakings and days when everything seems to go wrong will come. Abraham Lincoln experienced many failures on the road to becoming one of the most beloved presidents of the United States. We ought to learn from our miscues and do better the next time.

A man once wrote: “If you miss one opportunity—don’t fill your eyes with tears. Tears may hide another better opportunity in front of you.” Wipe those eyes and look up—there lies the future.
