The Parrot
In this day and age, it is almost rare to hear a radio show or see a movie without some vulgarity. It is the norm among a lot of young people in the schools, and they are not corrected for using that kind of language. In time, people become accustomed to wrong things.
By using profanities, people degrade themselves and make holy things impure by treating them with disrespect or irreverence. We are told in God's Word not to use profane language (Romans 3:14; Ephesians 4:29; Colossians 3:8). If we do not respect ourselves, we cannot respect others (Matthew 22:39). That is the state that is far too common about us.
